I've tried to access my PrePaid ATM account over the last couple of days but keep getting the following message.

"We are currently experiencing problems with our credit card processor. We would like to aplologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We hope to have this problem resolved shortly."

Does anyone have any further info on this?

Everyone really should stop using credit cards for deposits. Nothing but headaches. Using cash through your checking account and PrePaid ATM or Neteller is the way to go.

Fathead, I couldnt agree more. CC's need to be ceased. So many headaches and potential problems with credit. I have had my share of CC debt. I know the pains of it. I think Neteller is a must right now. Smooth as silk.

Good luck all

fathead, General:

A blanket statement saying that credit cards should be "ceased" is just as irresponsible as saying that internet gambling and online sports betting should be banned.

I use my credit card at sportsbooks all the time. I get frequent flier miles, and it gives me some level of protection in the event of a book going under. I realize the problems for Americans, but being from Canada, I have never encountered a problem using my Visa.

I know most books prefer an alternate funding method, but from a player's perspective, if you're able to responsibly manage your money, it's a great option to use.

Not to single out gambling, but most often players get themselves in a bind when doing so. The addiction takes over & then they begin to chase using a CC. Bad move. I think the bad things that can happen with CC's outweigh the good that can come with 6-15% interest added. Now, If you are wise & savvy about it, they can be beneficial i agree.

I wasn't suggesting that credit cards should be banned from use at sportsbooks. I believe in freedom of choice... as much as possible in all areas. Few things in any area of life should be banned. What I meant was, bettors should probably function on a cash only basis to avoid headaches with denied deposits, slow or lost payouts (credits back to the card), and so forth. The US banks are denying most credit card transactions to gambling sites if they can be spotted. I think PrePaid ATM was switching credit card processors frequently to avoid denials, but the well must have gone dry.

If you live in Canada, then maybe you have a different situation. Must be nice to still live in a relatively free country.
